Day one of our 2021 event featured a keynote on Digging Deep from New Mobility’s Person of the Year (2021) and Craig H. Neilsen Visionary Prize Winner, Andrea Dalzell, breakout meetings based on level of injury and/or relationship, presentations from DSHS on supported employment and supportive housing, and panels on intersectionality and mental wellness!

Adapting to a life of limited mobility is challenging! The prospect of connecting with people in a similar situation may be daunting. Therefore, we are in the process of creating the Here and Now Project Survivors and Supporters Map. Our goal is to launch the map so paralysis survivors and supporters can see they are not alone.
